Bobby Glenn Brooks, 76, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Monday at his home. He was a US Navy veteran, had retired from the Chrysler Corporation, and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Echols Brooks; His son, Bobby R. Brooks and his wife, Jennifer, of Gurley; Two grandchildren, Garrett Brooks and Brittany Brooks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, A.W. Brooks, Lewis "Bud" Brooks, Don Brooks, and one sister, Freda Hudson.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving friends at Noon. Burial with Navy Honors will follow the service in Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice Services. 4769 Whitesburg Drive, Suite 202 Huntsville, Alabama 35802.
