Bessie GaitherAugust 11, 1916 ~ July 5, 2009Mrs. Bessie Gaither, age 92, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening. She was a Christian and was retired from Wilson Lumber Company where she was Credit Manager. Mrs. Gaither was preceded in death by her husband, Hamer Gaither, and by her son-in-law, James Howard Pierce. She is survived by her son, Don Gaither, and by her daughters, Sue Shockley and husband Johnny Jr and Wynelle Pierce. 5 Grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will begin Tuesday at 11AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home and will be followed by a funeral service at 1PM; Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Please visit
