Ann Richardson Wilburn passed into God's eternal care on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the age of 80. She was surrounded at home by those that she loved dearly after a period of declining health.

She was born on August 6, 1944, in Lincoln County to the late Audie and Eleanor Sims Richardson. She was the third of eight children, who shared a very close relationship of love and concern for each other.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of almost 60 years, Jessie "Jip" Wilburn, five siblings, Fred (Ted) Richardson, Lucy Bates, Ed Richardson, A.C. Richardson, Bob Richardson.

Ann is survived by her children Teddy (Mary Jane) Wilburn and Shelia Wilburn Long; her grandkids Timothy (Kim) Wilburn, Brooke (Tawni) Wilburn, Whitney Long, and Jordan Long. Four great grandkids Bryant Wilburn, Braylen Wilburn, Hensley Wilburn and Kayleb Newby. Bryant has had a special place in Ann's heart since he was born. Ann is also survived by siblings Lorraine (Steve) Graham and Judy Kolle. Ann was blessed with many love nieces and nephews as well.

Ann married "Jip" in 1965 and they had two children who became the joy, love and focus of their lives.

Ann was known affectionately as "Granny Annie". Ann's life was marked by her devotion to her family as a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Ann was employed by Amana for 24 years and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship with her church friends.

The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 12:00PM - 2:00PM Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on May 2, 2025 at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating.
