Angela Gail Works

Mrs. Angela Gail Works of Harvest, Alabama, passed away Thursday. She was 74.

Mrs. Works was a loving mother and a loyal, devoted wife. She had a relationship with the Lord, and her faith was the light that guided her life and gave her strength each day. A daredevil of sorts, Angela was adventurous and would always try something new. She had a bold sense of humor. Angela loved to be outdoors, whether it was gardening, going to the beach, or walking her beloved dogs. She also enjoyed dancing, doing crossword puzzles, and playing games. Most of all, she will be remembered for her love of family. While Angela will live on in each of her family members every day, her loss will be felt deeply, as she was the glue that held her family together.

Mrs. Works was preceded in death by her husband, David Works; her parents, John and Dorothy Wilcox; and her sister-in-law, Tammy Wilcox.

Surviving family includes her children, Angie Frank (Don), Tina Works, and Christy Goins Fain (Matt); her siblings, Vicki Dean and Dennis Wilcox; her grandchildren, Tabitha, Billy Joe, Ashley, Megan, James David, Julia, Cassie, and several beautiful great-grandbabies. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held immediately after at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Jody D. Dean officiating.
