It is with loving remembrance that we announce the passing of a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Ana Marylus Mahar of New Port Richey, Florida formerly of Huntsville, Alabama.

Ana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond A. Mahar. Also preceding her are her beloved parents Henry and Estelle Love.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Carol Stafford, Bobbie Jean Curran, and Henry Hardin.

Her memory will be treasured by her grandchildren: Jeremy Hatfield, Holly Stafford Anderson, Jackson Curran, Parker Curran, and Mitchell Stafford, along with five great-grandchildren.

She will be fondly remembered by her sister Lila Jean Achziger and her 4 nieces.

Ana was a graduate of SR Butler High School and retired from AT&T. Ana was also an upstanding member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Past Madam President, Grand Auxiliary Member, FL State Auxiliary Treasurer, as well as Member of the FOE Auxiliary Florida Hall of Fame. Ana brought dedication, kindness, guidance and Love to her Auxiliary, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Her life was a blessing to those who knew her, and her memory will be carried in the hearts of her family forever.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 08, 2026 from 1 - 2 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home 13921 Hwy 231-431 N Hazel Green, Alabama with graveside services to follow at 2:30 PM at Maple Hill Cemetery.
