Altie Louise WalkerOctober 5, 1919 ~ November 13, 2008Mrs. Altie Walker, 89, of New Market died Thursday at her residence. She is survived by her children, Homer Walker, Shirley Stone and Marie Campbell; her sisters, Hassie Holder, Alvena Britton, Becky Jean Painter, Linda Allen, Martha Stephens, Phyllis Grondin and Carolyn Mires; eight grandchildren; 13great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday from 5 ~ 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday 1 pm at the Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Betterton officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
