Alisa Pogue of Gurley went to be with the Lord on Monday while surrounded by her family. She was 58. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and sister.

Lisa was a Christian and a member of County Lake Full Gospel Church where she worshipped along with her husband and her brothers and sisters in Christ. She will be remembered for her strong faith in Jesus.

Lisa had a servant's heart and was always looking for an opportunity to serve others. She fed those who were hungry, clothed those who needed it, and she was always looking to meet the needs of others and shared her love by fostering children.. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors, and loved her Paparazzi jewelry and her wigs.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Isaac William Pogue and her parents, Jerry Ray & Edna Sue McCoy.

Surviving family members include her husband of almost 40 years, Gary Pogue; her sons, Gary (Kayla) Pogue and Jerry Pogue; her grandchildren: Landon Pogue, Braeden Pogue, Levi Pogue, Bryson Pogue, Kynzley Pogue; her sisters: Donna McCoy, Traci (Andy) Abbott, Jerri (Jay) Yaney, Staci Biggs, Mary Jo Howell; her brother, Joshua (Melissa) McCoy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Harbin and Pastor Earl Holder officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Concord Cemetery.

The family would like to express appreciation for all the love and kindness shown during this time.
