Ruby Raines Sharp

Rock Island, TN resident and Limestone County, AL native Ruby Raines Sharp, age 74, was born May 23, 1948 and died June 20, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.

A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Zora Graham Raines.  She was married to Thomas “Tommy” Buford Sharp on January 7, 1974 who preceded her in death.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, James “Jimbo” Raines and sisters, Edna Finely and Libby Smith.

Ms. Sharp is survived by daughter, Lisa (Shaun) Presley of Bone Cave, TN; sister, Amy Brown of AL; grandson, Steven Presley of Rock Island, TN and great-granddaughter, Lily Halliburton of McMinnville, TN.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Hazel Green Funeral Home in Hazel Green, AL. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in New Market, AL.
