Mrs Bennie Brannon

Bennie Joyce "Butch" Miller Brannon, 71, of Huntsville, passed away on Monday at her home.

After being reared in the Gurley area, she married her husband of of 53 years, Lebert Brannon. She was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted homemaker who loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Brannon; By her parents, Charlie and Sarah Miller; Her sisters: Catherine Shores and Otha Mae Hubbard; By her brothers: Charlie Miller and Barry Miller.

Mrs. Brannon is survived by her husband, Lebert M. Brannon; Her daughter, Angela (Steve) Ezell; Her sons, Lawrence "Bubba" Brannon and Douglas "Doug" Brannon; Her grandchildren: Brandon Cook, Lee Brannon, & Michael Brannon; 4 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Nancy Harbin and Dorothy Cobble; 1 brother: Fred Miller.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Benny Berry and Rev. Billy Britton officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery.
