James Thomas Mccormick

James Thomas McCormick Sr, 88, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday. He loved spending early mornings seeing the deer outside, and he enjoyed fishing.  He enjoyed music and loved playing the guitar and singing.  He was a hard worker with a great work ethic - having been a barber for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Irma McCormick and his brother, Charles McCormick.

Surviving family members include his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Troy Bramlett;  His son and daughter-in-law, Tommy & Jen McCormick;  His son and daughter-in-law, Tim & Donna McCormick;  His grandchildren, Brandon McCormick and Chris McCormick;  HIs sister, Elinor Byrom.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Cantrell officiating.  Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service and will be in Fowlkes Cemetery in Capshaw.
