To the family, I hope you will find comfort in Jesus promise of the resurrection, when those who are sleeping in death will be raised up and restored back to life. (John 5:28,29) Lazarus was a fine example of what Jesus can and will do with the power of holy spirit given him by his Father. (John 11:35-44; Mark 1:10) May reflecting on God's promises, and remembering that he always fulfills them, help to comfort you all and ease your pain. (Numbers 23:19)

My heart is broken over the devastating loss of Wade. If you needed anything done, he'd do it. If you needed someone to listen to you, he'd be there. If you needed cheering up, he was there with a joke. Wade would have given anyone the shirt off his back if he thought they needed it more than him. He made sure to speak to us every day before he headed out, usually starting our morning with a laugh. We lost a great man Tuesday. I'm thankful for the 6 years I've worked with him. My heart is hurting for this previous family. Edwina and I grew up together, seven days apart in age, and Wade was the little brother. I have nothing but wonderful memories. May God hold all of you tightly in this time of sorrow.
