Bishop Duncan Obituary

Bishop Deloy Duncan, 78, of Rogersville, passed peacefully July 18, 2019.

Born in Tennessee, he grew up in Tiftonia and later moved to the Huntsville area.

He had a larger than life personality and was an avid storyteller. While attending Multnomah University in Oregon he played with The Kingsman Band.  He was a proud Navy Veteran, traveling to the Pacific Northwest. After relocating to Alabama in the 70’s, he and Josie started a family business in the Huntsville area that is in operation to this day.

Bishop loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He remained an avid Tennessee fan to the end.

He will be greatly missed by his family, the love of his life for over 45 years Josie Parino, step daughter Deborah Parino Martin (Dr Larry Martin), step son Anthony Parino (Elisabeth) as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  He leaves behind 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday July 27th at Hazel Green Funeral Home at 1pm.  Followed by a graveside service.
