Mrs. Bettye C. Noblin, 83, of Hazel Green, passed away on Tuesday while surrounded by her loving family.
Bettye was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia before moving to Hazel Green with her husband who she met while he was serving in the United States Marines. She was a Christian, a member of the Hazel Green United Methodist Church, and had retired from the United States Postal Service.
Bettye was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Noblin; Her grandson, Matthew E. Noblin; Her parents, Ralph & Edna Welch.
Surviving family members include her sons and daughters-in-love, William E. "Butch" Noblin Jr. and his wife, Sandra; Michael A. Noblin Sr. and his wife, Tammy; Her grandson, Michael A. Noblin, Jr and his wife, Tiffany; Her great-granddaughters, Maddie Noblin and Zoee Wilson; Her great-grandson, Hunter Noblin; Her siblings: Ann Conrad, Becky Council, Buddy Welch, and Dickey Welch; She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at the church with Rev. Al Geise officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
