Amanda "Amy" (Jones) Boyett

Amanda "Amy" Jones Boyett, 40, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Sunday while surrounded by her family.

Amanda "Amy" Jones Boyett was born October 28, 1976 in Salisbury, MD to Robert and Deborah Jones. Over the course of her life, she became an outstanding mother, aunt, and friend. She had a special place in her heart for children, caring for each as if they were her own. Amy also loved to sing and write songs. She was a bright and outgoing woman who touched the lives of so many. She'll live on forever in every time we laugh and every song we sing. May she never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kaitlyn Sierra Boyett;  Her grandparents, Thomas and Laura Boyett, and Charles and Dorothy Jones;  Her aunts, Carolyn Bond and Rhonda Boyett, and her uncle, Richard Boyett.

Surviving family members include her children, Julia Laskowski and husband, Anthony, and Trinity Boyett; Her mother, Deborah Boyett Jones; Her father, Robert Jones and his husband, David Banks;  Her sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Bubba Barley; Her brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Kandace Jones; Her nieces and nephews: Kayla and Mark McInvale, Trai Cupp, Logan Barley, Keaton Barley, Matthew Jones, Caroline Jones;  Her great-nephews: Aiden McInvale and Riley McInvale;

She is also survived by numerous cousins and by her aunts and uncles:

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday at 2pm at the Hazel Green Church of God of Prophecy with Bishop Harold St. Clair officiating.
