Ruth Jacobs Beegle 87, passed away March 13, 2015 at Ardmore Health and Rehab.
She was born May 12, 1927 to James Elgie and Iva West Jacobs. She lived all her life in Hazel Green, AL. She was a member of The Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Beegle, brothers; Robert and Charlie Jacobs, sisters; Lucille Damron and Annie B. King and a son-in-law Danny Hill.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Hill of Ardmore, TN, sons; Billy(Vicki) Beegle and Roy(Anita) Beegle all of Hazel Green,AL, sister, Joyce Harness of Fayetteville, TN 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Beegle, Steve McAllister, Toney Pitts, Alan Workman, Danny Hicks and Barry Yearwood.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday March 18 at 2 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Sharon Cemetery in Hazel Green.
