Nannie Ruth Maynard

Nannie Ruth Maynard, 76, of New Market, AL passed away Tuesday morning at her home.

Nannie Ruth was one of a kind, a precious loving lady. She loved spending time with family and friends, spoiling her great grandchildren, watching her birds from the front porch and just living life. She never met a stranger and her door was always open. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Born June 7, 1941 in Lincoln County, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Roy and Lurlean Henderson King. She was proceeded in death by two grandchildren, Hailey and Heath Britton; brothers, Holland and Charles King; sisters, Carolyn Maynard, Gloria King, Rebecca Cowan and Vivian Burgess.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Joe Maynard, they would have celebrated 56 years on November 20th; two daughters, Darlene Britton and Bobbie Lynn Marlow (her husband Jeff) of New Market, AL; a son, Marty Maynard (his wife Trudy) of Hazel Green, AL; nine grandchildren, Crystal Swinford, Blake Britton, Matthew Tribble, Rickey Tribble, Ashlee Taylor, Kayla Johns, Clint Maynard, Cason Parsons, and Kirsten Parsons; ten great-grandchildren, Rhett, Kendall, Kaitlyn, Mackenzie, Audrey, Nyah, Tristan, Aailayah, Sutton and Hutson; brother, Johnny King; sisters, Glenda Cranfill, Brenda Hovis, Paula Phillips; Joyce Jeans and Beulah Mae Mason (Doman); several nieces and nephews, a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening 6–9 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home and funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Justin King officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery, New Market, AL
