Lillia Marie (Suire) Richard

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley for Lillia Suire Richard, 96, who died April 28, 2016 in Hazel Green AL.

Fr. Billy Massie, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. The family request visiting hours be held Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will be in Suire Cemetery in Forked Island.

She is survived by seven sons, Deacon Joseph Richard Jr. and wife Maria of Bartlesville, OK., Earl Richard and wife Jane of Crowley, LA., Donald Richard of Morse, La., Wayne Richard and wife Brenda of Bella Vista, AR., Deacon Thomas “TJ” Richard and wife Glenda of Eunice, LA., Maxie Richard and wife Donnie of Crowley, LA., Richard Richard and wife Irene of Crowley, LA.; three daughters, Georgie R. Beckert and husband Brad of Palatka FL., Lou Anna Da Rosa and husband Robert of Claremore, OK., Mona Marie Whitworth and husband Kevin of Hazel Green, AL.; and one daughter in law Danielle Richard of Morse, LA.; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lillia is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard Sr.; one son Harold “Bud” Richard; her parents, Ode and Ella Richard Suire; one great granddaughter Ashlea Richard; and one great grandson Cpl. Mathew Richard.
